This sake brewery is located in a mountainous area in Kumamoto.
This region, Yamato is very well known as a pure water source and organic cultivation area.
Founded in 1770, this brewery is the oldest sake brewery still in operation in Kumamoto Prefecture.
While their brewery was affected by the Kumamoto earthquake, they have finally reopened along with a new sake-tasting cafe.
In this area, you can also see National Treasure.
Tsujun Bridge is Japan’s largest stone-arch aqueduct bridge, and it was constructed in 1854.
The structural purpose was to supply water to the valleys where people suffered from water shortages.
