Kurokawa Onsen, located in Aso, Kumamoto, is a charming hot spring town.
It's lined with traditional inns, relaxing bathhouses, and cute little local shops, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Kurokawa town has roughly 30 different bathhouses and Inn. Whether you stay overnight or not, you can always do hos springs hopping.
With their pass (called "Tegata"), you can hop between three hot springs of your choice!
This time, I stayed at a hotel outside the core area.
